We’re starting to notice some planners setting up shop as marriage proposal planners, offering everything to brain storming ideas for the perfect proposal to full-service production, including hiring and managing vendors, venue research and coordination and more.

They’re marketing their services by stressing the importance of having a trouble and stress-free proposal that is personalized to the couple. One company, The Yes Girls, says that they have planned more than 150 marriage proposals worldwide. For $95, they’ll provide the groom-to-be with at least two proposal ideas. For additional fees, they’ll provide a coordinator to plan and implement the proposal, even going on-site if requested.

New York-based Brilliant Event Planning offers different levels of event planning, from full-service, to a la carte services to vendor matching. They begin with an in-depth consultation to learn about the couple’s unique love story, then come up with ideas for the perfect proposal.

The Heart Bandits are a husband and wife team who “…specialize in all things romance,” including anniversaries, Valentine’s Day or a special birthday. Billing themselves as a marriage proposal and romance concierge consulting service, they are based in California. Like some other proposal planners, they begin with a personal relationship questionnaire, and use it to create at least five event ideas. Once the client finds an idea that he likes, he can either plan the event on his own or hire the Heart Bandits to coordinate the proposal.

And of course, all of these planners would be delighted to follow up the proposal event with an engagement party or two, and perhaps even a wedding!
